You will be happy to know that the GYA working group Global Access to Research Software (GARS) has directed its efforts to ensure equitable Global Access to Research Software (GARS) , in the spirit of Open Science. INASP, an organization with significant success in enabling developing countries to strengthen access to online journals and books, has joined hands with GYA-GARS to explore needs and demand for a programme to support this.
We are working to set up a programme that will go some distance in addressing the issues and solving some problems. We have just launched a Survey which will serve both as a baseline study and needs assessment.
We would greatly appreciate if you would kindly:
- Answer the survey yourself
- Disseminate the link among colleagues and networks and encourage all to take part
