The electronic version of the GYA magazine-issue 5 has just released in May 2017. .
In this issue, the second part mainly focused on all activities of the 1st Asian National Young Academy (NYA) Meeting held in Bangkok, Thailand from 15 – 16 December 2016.
More importantly, 39 new GYA members elected in 2017 who have been certified in the last part of the magazine, including Dr. Tran Quang Huy – Chair of the Vietnam Young Academy.
In 2016, GYA has its 200 members, and 134 alumni elected from 70 countries and all continents.
GYA members are selected for the excellence of their science and their commitment to service and are serving five-year terms.
Dr. Tran Quang Huy is the only Vietnamese representative elected to the GYA in 2017
