The Australian APEC Study Centre at RMIT University is pleased to announce the launch of the 2016 ‘Australia-APEC Women in Research Fellowship’. This exciting new initiative will support high-achieving female researchers from developing APEC economies to further their research work in Australia.
Funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training, the ‘Australia-APEC Women in Research Fellowship’ will offer up to 10 fellowships per year for female post-graduate researchers to work in partnership with an Australian education institution to undertake a research project. This opportunity is open to citizens and permanent residents from Chile, People’s Republic of China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
The Australian APEC Study Centre will be running the fellowship and has announced that applications are now open for 2016. The Centre welcomes applications for research projects varying between 1 and 4 months in duration. A maximum of $23,300 is available for each fellowship.
