The US Agency for International Development, the US Mission to ASEAN, and ASEAN have just launched the 3rd call for applications for the ASEAN-US Science & Technology Fellowship. Thematic focus areas this year include sustainable energy, climate change and variability, and science, technology, and innovation policy.
This one year fellowship embeds early to mid career scientists who are citizens and residents of ASEAN Member States (AMS) within their host country government for one year. Fellows apply their scientific knowledge and skills to helping their governments strengthen science based policy-making around ASEAN regional priority issues. The program also empowers the participating scientists to work more effectively at the science to policy interface throughout their careers, and enables them to support their countries’ ASEAN integration efforts.
The application packet, eligibility requirements, and further details about the program are available here. Applications are due by Feb 21 2016.
